No PPP kernel support....
I've got a friend that I'm trying to support over the phone.... He's
getting the above error when trying to run "pon". I've gone through all the
obvious things, but have had no success.
Does anyone have any ideas?
- Running lsmod showed ppp loaded.
- Rebuilding kernel with static ppp support didn't help.
- ppp version is 2.2.0f-23
- Debian version 1.3.1 (from LSL)
(I'm searching the Debian archives now, but haven't found anything yet....)
