localize problem after upgrading to libc6

Hi,

could someone tell me what to do to get rid of these messages apearing:

perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
        LC_ALL = (unset),
        LC_MESSAGES = "C",
        LANG = "de_DE"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").

The changelog says, that german locale was added, so it should work.
Maybe I have to change some environmentvariables to work with libc6 ?

I can't find any info in the docs, so any help is greatly appreciated.

I have libc6 2.0.3-4 and perl 5.004-1 installed on this system.

Ciao,
	Martin
