I have an Iomega Ditto 3200; uses QIC-3020 TR3 tapes, 1.6Gb uncompressed.
My advice to you is to stear clear of this tape drive. ftape
does not support (yet) the controller that comes with it, and the drive
is pretty slow. Get scsi, DAT or something if you can afford it.

I like taper for backups; not very powerful, but full screen,
colorful, straightforward ... And reliable. Today I did a backup
of my Windows 95 using the Ditto tape software, came home to find
Windows had crashed with an exception 13.

Hello,

While using dselect to install some new software, the program
downloaded a new version of sendmail: 8.7.6-2.
This version won't start however, here is the trace:

# /etc/init.d/sendmail start
starting /usr/sbin/sendmail ...
554 /etc/sendmail.cf: line 179: readcf: Op line: unrecognized

554 readcf: config K line: no map name

This line 179 contains the following:

# privacy flags
O PrivacyOptions=authwarnings

If I comment the line out, sendmail still won't start:

# /etc/init.d/sendmail start
starting /usr/sbin/sendmail ...
554 readcf: config K line: no map name
451 readcf: config K line: no map name: No such file or directory
554 readcf: config K line: no map name

Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks, Joop
