IP aliasing question
I have a single machine on the net (zachs.place.org)
with ip aliases to make it also be (eth0:0) juggling.place.org
and (eth0:1) www.worldwind.com. Which all works fine.
Except... that anywhere I telnet to from that machine
sees me as coming from www.worldwind.com instead of from
zachs.place.org. Which screws up ip-based filters, and etc.
So does anyone know how/why this happens? IMHO, telnets should
appear to come from the 'primary' (non-aliased) IP, not from
one of the aliases. ideas?
