Wearing out the EEPROM in your modem?

Not by using "ATZ". The EEPROM can sustain a limited number of
_writes_, and if you run the "AT&W" command 10,000 times, you may kill
the EEPROM. You can read it as much as you want without any problem.
Many modern EEPROMs can sustain 100,000 writes or more. Actually, I've
never heard of one breaking.
