codecs para legendas no libav

Boa noite!

Alguém sabe porque não há codecs para legendas na versão atual do
liav-tools?

$ avconv 
avconv version 11.3-6:11.3-1, Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the Libav
developers
  built on Mar 13 2015 23:08:20 with gcc 4.9.2 (Debian 4.9.2-10)

usage: avconv [options] [[infile options] -i infile]... {[outfile

$ avconv -formats | grep ES
