Ncurses problem z apt-get

Mam problem z zainstalowaniem ncurses.
Podczas instalacji wyrzuca mi taki komunikat:

debian:~# apt-get install ncurses
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package ncurses has no available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
of sources.list
E: Package ncurses has no installation candidate

Jakoś nie mam pomysłu co tu z tym zrobić pakiet w bazie istnieje ale nie został zainstalowany, gdzie to można poprawić / naprawić??
