Dzięki! Tuż po napisaniu tamtego maila (czy tak już będzie zawsze?)
znalazłem na KDE3 and Debian FAQ małym drukiem[1] tekst "This FAQ has
now been superseded by a Wiki at http://wiki.debian.net/";. Dopisałem
unstable (ftp.debian.org) do źródeł, poprawiłem /etc/apt/preferences
i wygląda na to, że kde-core ściągnie się bez problemów.

[1] wiem, było używać links, a nie Firebirda...
