GhostPDL, warum kein Paket?

Liebe Listenlesende,

ich bin eben auf "GhostPDL" gestoßen, was wohl von den selben Leuten 
entwickelt wird, die auch ghostscript entwickeln.

Im Debian-Paket ghostscript-doc sind auch Verweise auf GhostPDL 
enthalten, z.B. die Datei /usr/share/doc/ghostscript/html/GPDL.html

Allerdings finde ich kein Executable "gpdl".

Gibt es einen speziellen Grund dafür (z.B. Lizenz inkompatibel mit 
DFSG?), oder ist das einfach nur ein Fall von "hat halt bisher niemand 
paketiert"?

gpdl ist eine Erweiterung von ghostscript, so dass es außer Postscript 
auch noch Eingabeformate wie PCL versteht.

Aus der o,g. HTML-Datei:

Die unterstützten Sprachen seien: PJL, PCL, PCLXL, XPS, POSTSCRIPT, URF 
(mit dem Vermerk "Currently available to commercial customers only"), 
JPG, PWG, TIFF, JBIG2, JP2K, PNG

Das klingt ziemlich nützlich.
