Blootooth Device nicht verfügbar

Hallo zusammen,

ich bin aktuell dabei meine USB-Surfsticks abzuschafen und plane die
Verwendung von Smartphones zum Surfen. Hier möchte ich nun gern die
Bluetooth-Verbindung nutzen, da diese weniger Energie beansprucht.
Leider kann ich aktuell auf meinem System aber nicht auf mein
Bluetooth Device zugreifen. Da ich nun aber weiß, dass mein Laptop
über Bluetooth verfügt und ich dieses in der Vergangenheit (schon eine
Weile her) auch schon verwendet habe, stellt sich die Frage, warum mir
das Gerät nicht mehr angezeigt wird.
Bei meinen Recherchen bin ich auf ein ähnliches Problem in Ubuntu
gestoßen (siehe hier:

Könnte dies auch Abhilfe in meinem System schaffen? Ich habe diesen
Ansatz bisher noch nicht verfolgt, da ich nicht einfach den Kernel
modifizieren wollte.
Vllt. kennt jemand eine Lösung für das Problem.

Bluetooth ist im Bios aktiviert und an den Hardware-Schalter gekoppelt
Hardware-Schalter ist auf "on"
