Hab grad auch namazu2 probiert, liefert mir folgende Ausgabe:
$ apt install namazu2
...
Setting up namazu2 (2.0.21-21) ...
ERROR: namazu2 is broken - called emacs-package-install as a new-style add-on, but has no compat file.
Install namazu2 for emacs
Install namazu2 for emacs
Install namazu2 for emacs-snapshot
install/namazu: Handling install for emacsen flavor emacs-snapshot
$ 

but that is not an actual error that dpkg complains about, so it is all
fine, which can also be seen by 
$ apt -f install
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 15 not upgraded.
$

So just a warning, and the emacs-common ERROR message is a bit overdoing
it ;-)
