Hier wird die Schriftgrösse in ~/.gtkrc-2.0 festgelegt, bei mir sieht
die Datei so aus:

Falls eine globale Config Schuld an dem Problem ist, wäre es vermutlich
schlau, die ~/.gtkrc-2.0.mine anzulegen und die Schriftgrösse dort
einzutragen (wobei -gerade ausprobiert- das hier auch nicht hilft, weil
das "include..." am Anfang der Datei steht, offenbar ein Fehler in
lxappearance).
