Danke für die Erklärungen! Video lief auf der Kiste bisher immer recht
flüssig, seit Debian 6 hatte ich auch keine Probleme mehr mit
Flash-Video, das ja ziemlich Ressourcen fressend ist. Natürlich besteht
weiterhin die Hoffnung, das Flash(-Video) allmählich ausstirbt :-)
Wie ich gerade gelesen haben , andere Stelle in diesem Thread, wurden
sowohl der ati als auch der Radeon Treiber bzw.. deren Module geladen.
Das kann Probleme machen die du ja bereits dadurch gelöst hast das du
den ati Treiber entsorgt hast.
Ich würde per aptitude nach xorg-Video suchen und Alle ! Videotreiber
die nicht für Radeon oder fbdev bestimmt sind löschen, es gibt glaube
ich noch einen Treiber für die Video configuration den würde ich auch
drin lassen.
Für HW Beschleunigung (3D) ist die va Geschichte wichtig, da nach
Schauen das die glx Treiber installiert sind.
Falls sich keine extra glx Treiber für die Radeon finden, alle nehmen wo
nicht sw oder nvidia drin steht.
Für die gli Treiber gilt das selbige, ebenso für dri.
Wenn du nicht die Vsync Option verwendest sollte glxgers eine fbs von
über 1000 anzeigen, ich kann mir nicht Vorstellen das die Radeon
wirklich nur 450 fbs kann.

Natürlich müsste bei dir als Provider ATI oder etwas mit Open drin stehen.
Wenn es jetzt etwas viel txt ist endschuldige ich mich dafür, wollte nur
zeigen das es eine Auflistung gibt / geben sollte wenn die
entsprechenden Optionen funktionieren.
Hoffe das es dir etwas Hilft den / die Fehler zu finden damit es bei dir
funktioniert, habe leider keine Radeon zur Hand um das zu Testen.
