smartd macht mir Sorgen...
Hallo Liste,
meine Hauptmaschine hat mittlerweile Hardwareseitig sicherlich schon den
fünften Geburtstag hinter sich, ebenso die Festplatte (eine Western Digital
Caviar Black) und das installierte Debian Sid. Bislang hat smartctl nichts zu
meckern gehabt.
Nun scheint sich herauszustellen, dass nicht Debian Unstable ist, sondern die
Festplatte! ;) Seit gestern meldet smartd:

Allerdings hat ein anschließender "Extended offline" Test nichts gefunden. Ich
frage mich nun, wie ernst ich es in diesem Lichte betrachtet nehmen muss, dass
der Current_Pending_Sector RAW Wert weiterhin auf "1" steht. Hat hier jemand
Erfahrungen mit der Deutung von smartctl?
Vielleicht ist es jetzt doch an der Zeit für ein Upgrade? (Eine Crucial MX100
512 GB lächelt mich so komisch an, und immerhin ist bald Weihnachten...)
