Zip-Archive lassen sich nicht öffen

Hallo,
habe einige Zip-Archive die sich nicht öffnen lassen. Diese wurden vor Monaten 
mit Debian Stable erstellt und nun soll mit selbigen Wheezy auch wieder 
geöffnet werden. Aber weder Arc noch unzip können es.
In der Meldung wird darauf verweisen das es sich um "Multipart" Dateien 
handelt, dass stimmt auch. Aber trotzdem sollte dies doch möglich sein zu 
öffnen. 


# unzip 1a1.zip

  a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive.  In the
  latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
  the last disk(s) of this archive.

        1a1.zip.zip, and cannot find 1a1.zip.ZIP, period.

Was ist mit dem Satz gemeint? 
 "In the latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found 
on the last disk(s) of this archive."
