Laut meiner manpage zu mount macht "-l":
mount [-l] [-t type]
lists all mounted filesystems (of type type). The
option -l adds the labels in this listing. See

Wie das offene Dateihandles auf /usr, in die gerade geschrieben wird,
schließen soll, ist mir schleierhaft. Was weißt Du, was die manpage
nicht weiß? Bitte erkläre es uns.
