eth0 zickt

Seit heut morgen zickt die Netzwerkschnittstelle eines kleinen Servers bei
mir.

Kann es dafür noch andere Gründe geben außer defekte Hardware/Kabel oder
lose Stecker?
Der hub, an dem das Gerät hängt, scheint i.O., andere Geräte funktionieren
an allen ports.
Die Kabel habe ich mehrfach ausgetauscht und auf guten Sitz geachtet.
Beide sollten eigentlich intakt sein und funktionieren auch mit anderen
Geräten.
Ideen?
