Doch, es steht ja explizit so im Skript drin. Das ist in dem Fall gut,
da das Skript bash-spezifische Features benutzt.

Xfce oder Gnome haben überhaupt keine Shell. Das Thema hat mit Deiner
Desktopumgebung nichts zu tun.
Um Dein Problem zu finden, rufe es mal mit "bash -x /pfad/zu/skript.sh"
auf und poste die Ausgabe bzw. zumindest den relevanten Teil, wenn das
maehr als 50-60 Zeilen sind.
