Lenny fdisk mit 2 TB Platte

Moin moin,

fdisk (aus util-linux in Lenny) meldet "No free sectors available", beim
Versuch eine dritte primäre Partition anzulegen. Es handelt sich um eine
neue 2 TB USB Festplatte, auf der ich zuvor schon 2 1-TB-Partitionen anlegen
und mounten konnte.

Im Einzelnen:

~# fdisk -l /dev/sdb

Disk /dev/sdb: 2000.3 GB, 2000396746752 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 243201 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x000bef84

   Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1   *           1      121577   976567221   83  Linux
/dev/sdb2          121578      243201   976944780   83  Linux
