ja, denn "update-rc.d ... defaults" macht folgendes:
update-rc.d(8):
"""For legacy mode, the following section documents the old behaviour.

When   run   with   either  the  defaults,  start,  or  stop options,
(...)

If defaults is used then update-rc.d will make links to start the
service in runlevels 2345 and to stop the service in runlevels 016."""

Um die LSB-Infos auszuwerten ist nun das Kommando insserv auch in Debian
verfuegbar.
