Ich brenötige keinen "mplayer" sondern vlc verwendet ffmpeg/libavcodec.
Ich hatte "mplayer" erst dann installiert, als "vlc" anfing nicht mehr
zu funktionieren

Aber warum funktionieren vlc und xmms mit ALSA/OSS, hingegen mplayer,
flash, rplayd, kphone, linphone und sip-communicator aber nicht?

Habe ich auch selber compiliert...

Das kenne ich und voreingestellt ist ja "auto" aber es hat alles nichts
funktioniert.

"xmms" und "vlc" verwenden ja ALSA und ich höre jeden Tag 24 Studen
music. Genause sehe ich ja meine iranischen TV Serien an.
Also as ALSA setup kann es nicht liegen

Das komische ist, das "rplay" behauptet, Musik abzuspielen, aber kein
Sound rauskommt. Es gibt absolut keine Fehlermeldung.
Irgndwas muß mit dem Soundkanal zwischend den Programmen und ALSA kaputt
sein.

Also wie man sieht, funktioniert rplayd über das Netzwerk. Mein Intranet
Server hat mir Sounds zu neuen wichtigen Mails gesendet.
Hier verwendet es oss-compat aber ich kann auch zu /dev/audio umschalten
und ALSA verwenden, ist aber das gleiche Ergebnis. rplayd spielt ohne
Fehlermeldung.
