Klar. Du hälst dich nicht an die empfohlenen Prozeduren für den Wechsel
aber gibst hinterher aptitude die Schuld dafür wenn was nicht klappt.
In welchen release notes willst du denn folgendes gelesen haben?

Ich behaupte mal nicht in denen für lenny, das ist AFAIR die für sarge/etch.
