OT: PowerLAN statt WLAN

Hallo Debian Users
Da ich sicherheitstechnisch nicht besonders begeistert bin von WLAN
(benutze das verkrüppelte Webinterface des Linksys WRT300N), möchte ich
mit PowerLAN Adaptern [0] vernetzen.
Laut Linux User [1] scheinen die PowerLAN Adapter Out-of-the-Box mit
Linux zu arbeiten.
Hat jemand Praxis-Erfahrungen mit PowerLAN? Ist das zu empfehlen?
