pulseaudio



Hallo,

hat hier jemend Erfahrung mit pulseaudio?

Ich wollte mein etch system von esd auf pulseaudio umstellen, um bessere Unterstützung von sound im lan zu haben. Ich habe dafür den esd gestoppt (der bis daher gut funktioniert hat, mit alsa als backend), habe die pulseaudio-Pakete installiert, mich selbst zu den Gruppen pulse, pulse-rt und pulse-access hinzugefügt und den daemon gestartet (über das init script). Leider kommt aber kein Ton:

Die 'authorization' Meldung kommt wahrscheinlich von kde, das versucht auf den esd zuzugreifen, der von pulseaudio emuliert wird (ich habe kde/arts so eingestellt, dass es auf esd zugreift, damit ich auch dann sound habe, wenn ich mich von einem Terminal aus einlogge). Das ist aber wohl eher ein sekundäres Problem. Erstmal muss pulseaudio überhaupt einen Ton von sich geben.

Irgendwelche Ideen oder Hinweise?
