Okay, hier mal ein Transkript von mir. Das Transskript der FSF hat den
Fragen-Antwort Teil nicht. Die gestellte Frage geht in die Richtung von
Leuten, die Software auf Systemen wie Windows entwickeln. Nur die
Antwort von Moglen (auf dem Debconf6-Video bei 43:00):

"On the contrary, one of the reasons that we altered what had been
called the system library exception was that questions had been raised
about precisely that sort of case. Was it inappropriate to link gcc with
a C library under proprietary terms or a C library under free, but
GPL-incompatible, terms? The language of GPL2 seemed to us to state that
that was permissible, but there was legimitate reason for doubt and we
wanted to make it clear that we always thought that mode of employ was
reasonable and we always thought it should be permitted and it is by
this language now explicitely permitted.

We hope on the contrary, that rather than creating more difficulties for
those development projects, we should them give better legal assurance
that what they are doing is fully permissible and fully compliant."


Da zumindest ich mkisofs nicht als Bestandteil des Betriebssystems sehe,
sehe ich nicht, wie das obige ueberhaupt relevant zur Diskussion ueber
cdrtools sein kann. Vom Inhalt selbst (der ausdruecklich auf die libc
Bezug nimmt), mal ganz abgesehen.
