Wo ist pidof geblieben?

Hallo zusammen,

hab hier Etch und stehe irgendwie gerade auf dem Schlauch.
Laut apt-file sollte pidof im Paket sysvinit stecken:

jagga@erde:~$ apt-file search pidof|grep bin
sysvinit: bin/pidof

Tut es aber nicht:

jagga@erde:~$ pidof
bash: pidof: command not found
jagga@erde:~$ dpkg -l sysvinit|grep ii
ii  sysvinit       2.86.ds1-20    System-V-like init utilities
jagga@erde:~$ dpkg -L sysvinit|grep pidof
jagga@erde:~$

Was übersehe ich/mache ich falsch?
