Ich hatte bereits geantwortet und ich mache tägliche updates...
Habe bis jetzt noch nie unter 500 kByte/Sekunde bekommen.

Das wird wohl an Deiner installation liegen...

haste schon mal versucht, ein verzeichnis mit wget zu ziehen ?
