ups, das tut mir leid! war ein fehlschuss meinerseits. da ich gerade
auf zwei hochzeiten tanze, hatte ich deine mail aus versehen nach
suse-linux verortet und dorthin geantwortet.
wie dem auch sei, hier dann noch mal meine antwort:
das problem ist nun, dass er nach kurzer zeit (etwa 2 stunden)
keine verbindung mehr nach draußen hat.
Wie genau äussert sich das? ppp0 weg, ifconfig (ppp0|eth0) zeigt
errors, dmesg zeigt eth0 errors, ...
soweit ich mich erinnern kann, ist zwar ppp0 weg, aber vielmehr ist
da auch nicht (vgl. log-einträge in den anderen nachrichten dieses
threads).
Welche Netzwerkkarte hast Du?

Poste doch bitte mal zum Abgleich Deine config (dsl-provider).
