Ich hab bei mir im Windowmakermenü für Isdn so etwas eingerichtet:

Einwählen:
isdnctrl dial ippp1 &&  imontty > isdn.log & Xdialog --no-cancel
--ok-label Ok --tailbox isdn.log 14 55 && rm isdn.log


Auflegen:
isdnctrl hangup ippp0 && isdnctrl hangup ippp3 && isdnctrl hangup ippp1
&& isdnctrl hangup ippp2 && imontty > isdn.log & Xdialog --no-cancel
--ok-label "Ok" --tailbox isdn.log 14 55 && rm isdn.log

Du kannst du dir dan so etwas ins K-Menü oder auf den Desktop
"zaubern...." (mit sudo wie in anderen mails erklärt....)
Die Konstruktion mit Xdialog gibt dir dann noch feedback ob die
Verbindung geklapt hat, du musst jedoch irgendein tool für dsl finden
was dir sagt ob du verbunden bist oder nicht...
