Stimmt, will offenbar nicht mit den Type1 - irgendwie geht es aber auch
mit den Hausmitteln von X.
Nimm type1inst - das funktioniert normalerweise und ist eigentlich auch
in einer Minute gemacht:
There are a total of 409 PostScript fonts in this directory

409 were standard PostScript fonts

For 409 of these I couldn't figure out which foundry
the font is from. Thus, these fonts will appear under the
foundry unknown, i.e. X font name -unknown-*.
Please consult the README file to see what this means.

A log of errors is located in the file "type1inst.log"
as mit dem XX.alias hinsichtlich ghostscript war offenbar nicht richtig.
Es wird eine Fontmap-Datei erzeugt. Die wird von ghostscript verwendet
(so wie die Datei aussieht). Aber ich müsste mich da auch wieder im
Detail einlesen (ist leider recht komplex). Es gibt in der
ghostscript-Doku bzw. auf der Website einige recht kryptische Hinweise
zur Schrifteninstallation für gs.
