Bon, alors : je remercie sincèrement tous ceux qui m'ont assisté dans la

forcement avec ces informations tu va pas y arriver, j'étais je sais
pas ou quand j'ai écrit cela je voulais écrire ifconfig down de
l'interface associé à ta carte e100 et idem pour celle associé à usb0
:-)) Pour les ifconfig, je me suis douté assez vite que ça concernait
l'interface et pas le module.
Par contre, pour
usb0: Hôte inconnu
c'est parce que je m'étais assuré que, dans knetworkmanager, eth0 etait
sélectionné.

ok, j'ai manqué de clarté dans ma demande /etc/init.d/[k]network* était
un raccourci d'écriture , mais tu a fini par trouver :-)
:-)) Ah, j'ai tenté, car je croyais que la commande relancerait tout ce
qui pouvait contenir le terme *network* ... (networkmanager,
knetworkmanager, networking, ou autres)...

ça semble rouler non ? a par ce vpnc (t'a besoin de te connecter en
vpn ? et ce "/com/redhat/dhcp/eth0" que j'ai jamais vu passer sur mes 5

supprimé à un moment les paquets network-manager et network-manager-kde
; quand j'ai voulu les réinstaller, synaptic m'a installé ça :

Je pense qu'il doit être possible de les désinstaller sans trop de casse
(puisqu'ils ont été installés "automatiquement"); d'ailleurs il me
semble que apt-get et aptitude suggèrent / font des désinstallations de
tels paquets installés "automatiquement" ?
Quant à
"/com/redhat/dhcp/eth0"
oui, ça m'a surpris aussi... Quelqu'un aurait-il une info ? (ou dois-je
poser la question sur un fil séparé ?)

pourquoi pas, mais fait un modprobe -r de usbnet (un lsmod | grep
usbnet) te dira s'il y a d'autres modules dépendant de celui-ci
Ah, c'est drôle : maintenant le module usbnet n'est même plus présent -
ce qui ne m'étonne "pas trop" puisque j'avais hier, suite à un lsmod,
qqch comme usbnet used by gl620a et c'était tout...

je connais pas ce fichier (il n'existe pas sur ma lenny), visiblement
c'est le paquet resolvconf qui s'occupe de cela (j'ai souvenir d'un fil
qui disait de ne pas utiliser ce paquet, tu l'a peut être pour une
bonne raison .....
Ben, pas d'autre que la réinstallation des paquets network-manager et
network-manager-kde - comme dit plus haut...
Alors désinstallation des paquets cités plus haut ou pas ?
