gnome-2.8 cut and paste

Hola nois, no m'anava gaire bé lo de tallar i enganxar amb
el firefox i he estat mirant por ahi.
He trobat que era culpa dels de gnome, algo del mode de
sel.lecció Emacs, el clipboard primari, etc ...
Al final el millor link em deia que tinc que canviar una
opció de configuració al gnome, però no la trobo, algú
em pot ajudat ? potser no és de la meva versió ? 2.8

| gnome-keybinding-properties from the shell and set
| `text editing shortcuts' to "Emacs", or do the same in
| Applications->DesctopPreferences->KeyboardShortcuts from the Gnome menu.
El que me passa amb firefox, és que no em va lo de seleccionar
per fer copy i botó del mig per fer paste.
