Ni idea.

Crec que el problema és que hi ha un conflicte entre el hotplug i els
scripts d'inici de l'ALSA. Jo ho vaig arreglar posant això al
/etc/hotplug/blacklist:

#alsa modules
snd-emu10k1

Llavors quan arrenca fa:

Tue Oct 12 12:56:19 2004: Starting hotplug subsystem:
Tue Oct 12 12:56:19 2004: input
Tue Oct 12 12:56:19 2004: net
Tue Oct 12 12:56:19 2004: pci
Tue Oct 12 12:56:19 2004: intel-agp: loaded sucessfully
Tue Oct 12 12:56:20 2004: ignore pci display device on 01:00.0
Tue Oct 12 12:56:20 2004: snd-emu10k1: blacklisted
Tue Oct 12 12:56:20 2004: usb
Tue Oct 12 12:56:22 2004: done
(...)
Tue Oct 12 12:56:25 2004: Starting ALSA (version 1.0.4rc2): emu10k1.
Tue Oct 12 12:56:25 2004: Restoring ALSA mixer settings ... done.

Bàsicament es tracta de 'dpkg-reconfigure alsa-base' :)
