gràcies! és just el que pretenc fer jo amb la diferència que al servidor
no hi tinc una pantalla i no puc configurar el XFree86, no se si no ho se
fer o si no en se prou!
l'entenc tot, exepte l'últim paràgraf que hem queda una mica fosc, anem
cap allí!

Depending on how you entered X on the user machine, you probably cannot do
a "startkde &" command, since a Window manager is already running on the
user machine.

AQUESTA ÉS LA PART QUE HEM QUEDA FOSCA!
If you know how to start an X session without using a window
manager, then using KDE or GNOME or fvwm or whatever is possible. It
requires hacking your .xinitrc on the user machine so no window manager
starts, only an xterm. Then the remote machine can provide the window
manager.
