I have
[~] asy -config "" -render=4 -f png -o B_b.png B_b.asy
malloc_consolidate(): invalid chunk size
[~] asy --version
Asymptote version 2.69 [(C) 2004 Andy Hammerlindl, John C. Bowman, Tom Prince]

Seems to depend on other libraries ...

Anyway, I asked John (upstream author).
