Severity: normal

Hi there!

I need to convert a LaTeX file to OpenDocument Text, but the oolatex
command produces an empty .odt. While looking at the oolatex output, I
discovered that it needs a JRE.

The tex4ht binary package itself does not suggests it nor the
documentation provided mentions it. On the contrary, the suggestion is
included in the tex4ht-common binary package. This is plainly wrong,
given that oolatex is shipped with the tex4ht binary package.

Please move the JRE suggestion to the tex4ht binary package instead. I
guess, but I am not sure, this should apply to all binary packages
needed by other TeX4ht commands.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca

OK, your right: the end user does not become aware of suggest entries in
package, which are just installed as dep of another package, so this was
not implemented very good.

oolatex is gone and does not exist any more in Debian official packages.
Therefor I close the bug at this point. I you find issues in other
binaries of tex4ht let us know.

Many thanks!
