Hi there!

I need to convert a LaTeX file to OpenDocument Text, but the oolatex
command produces an empty .odt because of a Java error.

Attached the LaTeX file which causes the error and the logs from both
sun-java6-jre and openjdk-6-jre-headless.

The math symbols in the following LaTeX code seem to be the culprit:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
\author{Luca Capello\\
  \href{mailto:luca@pca.it}{$<$luca@pca.it$>$}}
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

Given that AFAIK the code above is perfectly valid, I guess this is a
TeX4ht-specific problem.

BTW, there is another independent problem with the code above: the '\\'
command is not taken into account.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca

The error message point to a broken/incomplete JRE installation. This is
not an issue for tex4ht, hence I close this bug.
