Package: tex-common
Version: 6.04
Severity: normal

On installing tex (in fact apt-get build-dep rustc) in a fresh unstable
chroot I get this failure (on both amd64 and arm64 machines):

------------------
Processing triggers for tex-common (6.04) ...
debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Dialog
debconf: (No usable dialog-like program is installed, so the dialog based frontend cannot be used. at /usr/share/perl5/Debconf/FrontEnd/Dialog.pm line 76.)

Running updmap-sys. This may take some time...
updmap-sys failed. Output has been stored in
/tmp/updmap.nSgwfadc
Please include this file if you report a bug.

Sometimes, not accepting conffile updates in /etc/texmf/updmap.d
causes updmap-sys to fail. Please check for files with extension
.dpkg-dist or .ucf-dist in this directory

You can disable non-existent map entries using the option

Simply re-running the install command means that it fixes itself, so
this appears to be a 'fresh-install, first time' issue.
