Bug#900043: dt2dv.1: Some formatting fixes in the manual

Package: texlive-binaries
Version: 2018.20180416.47457-3+b1
Severity: minor
Tags: patch

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

  Warning from "groff":

<dt2dv.1>:60 (macro IR): only 1 argument, but more are expected

Output is from: test-groff -b -e -mandoc -T utf8 -rF0 -t -w w -z

["test-groff" is a developmental version of "groff"]

#####

  Summary:

Split long lines (> 80).

Change ".X [abc]" to ".RX [ abc ]"

Change ".IR <one argument>" to ".I <one argument>"

Begin a sentence on a new line

Protect full stop (.) if it is not an end of a sentence

###

  Details:

Input file is dt2dv.1

Test nr. 16:

Use the correct macro for the font change of one argument.
Split a punctuation mark from the only argument if one is there

60:.IR required

#####

Test nr. 41:

Wrong distance between sentences or protect the indicator.

1) Separate the sentences and subordinate clauses; each begins on a new
line. See man-pages(7) [package "manpages"] and "info groff".

Or

2) Adjust space between sentences (two spaces),

3) or protect the indicator by adding "\&" after it.

The "indicator" is an "end-of-sentence character" (.!?).

#####

Test nr. 42:

Split lines longer than 80 characters into two or more lines.
Appropriate break points are the end of a sentence and a subordinate
clause.
