Package: texlive-base
Version: 2007.dfsg.2-4
Severity: wishlist

Please make the dependency of texlive-* on their according texlive-*-doc
packages "suggests" instead of "recommends".

The documentation can be quite large.

The `Recommends' field should list packages that would be found
together with this one in all but unusual installations.

The `Suggests` field is used to declare that one package may be more
useful with one or more others. Using this field tells the packaging
system and the user that the listed packages are related to this one
and can perhaps enhance its usefulness, but that installing this one
  without them is perfectly reasonable.

Thank you, and also thank you for your work on the texlive packages.

Kind regards,

Martin

We have had enough of the -doc relation discussion, closing this bug,
otherwise some systemd guy comes up with even more playground for havoc.
