Bug#780681: closed by Norbert Preining <preining@logic.at> (Closing)

As I wrote in my last email on 2015-03-18:

Because the fonts are not shipped. Thus, the map file should *NOT*
be activated.

No bug, perfectly correct.

Incorrect.

For usage with latex you only need vf/tfm, no actual fonts are needed.

Wrong again. tex is *NOT* about getting a pdf. TeX is producing dvi.
There are convenience options to go directly to pdf, but this is not
necessary.

...

* it is a upupstream bug, that means, we as Debian have nothing to do with
it, nor does TeX Live it self have anything to do with it.
As long as the fonts are not uplaoded to CTAN, they will not end up
  in TeX Live.
But the package can still be used ...

==================================

As long as nobody uploads the fonts to CTAN in a usable way so that
they can be included in TeX Live, the package can be used to create
.dvi files.

If you wish the fonts to be packaged, please open a
	RFP
(request for packaging) bug to ftp.debian.org.

Thanks

Norbert
