Package: texlive-latex-extra-doc
Version: 2015.20160320-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,
I am trying to upgrade texlive on my notebook but it is running out of space
while setting up texlive-latex-extra-doc. This is a big package, it contains
many large PDF files. evince and xpdf can handle gz compressed PDF files, I
don't know if all supported PDF viewers can, but it would save quite some
diskspace if you could ship all PDF files compressed.

thanks,
Christian

As mentioned, PDF pages are already compressed, so it does not
make sense to gzip them.

Closing this bug.
