Bug#832570: tex-common fails to install with fmtutil error

thanks for your report. THere seems something fishy, and
I can even immagine that there is a problem in the paper
handling, but somehow all this looks strange.
Firt of all, can you please send me the version number of
your packages texlive-base, too.

This looks also different to mine, but I have intermediate
not released versions installed.

No, please *remove* the file
/var/lib/texmf/tex/generic/config/pdftexconfig.tex
and then try as root
mktexlsr /var/lib/texmf
fmtutil-sys --byfmt luatex
if that helps.
If no, please send me the output.
If yes, then please call
tl-paper set all a4|letter
(acording to your taste), and run
fmtutil-sys --byfmt luatex
again. Does this change anything.
