I have done that now. With a new checkout from TL I can compile
the document on sid, so this instance of the bug seems to be
an incompatibility with between fontspec and l3.
Do you need a new upload immediately or can you wait 2 weeks? I
normally do new uploads every month.
The fonts are still messed up, though.
