The point in the warnings we have given is that this is neither a
Debian *NOR* an upstream bug. It has to be fixed by upupstream,
that is the original author and uploaded to CTAN.

Please contact the author of invoice.sty (Oliver Corff) and ask him
to make the change and upload a new package to CTAN, then it will
come into TeX Live, and from there into Debian.
