When running latex on cyrillic tex files,
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/doc/support/pedigree-perl/examples/russian.cfg
is accessed, generating multiple error messates.
Apparently, the example files are not to be accessible
to tex binaries.
Suggested solution: remove the symlink
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/doc -> ../../doc/texlive-doc/
I am using
cat /etc/debian_version
7.3
kernel 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Mon Sep 23 23:00:18 UTC 2013 i686 GNU/Linux
