Very very unlikely unless *you* changed some configuration.

Can you show me the output of
	kpsewhich -progname=latex -show-path=tex

> cat /etc/debian_version
> 7.3

But not only that, you are using a lot of home brewn stuff:

>   (/home/comech/misc/tex/texinputs/extsizes/size14.clo)

Are you telling me that this is a plain TeX Live installation
without *any* modification?

Can you also send us an example file?
