Hi Reuben,

thanks for the report.  I'm resending this to the BTS so that we won't
forget about it.  I put your name in the From of the e-mail so that the

Hi,

this bug is fixed since long, the onlyh problem is that the
documents on people.debian.org are outdated.

The correct document is to be found int
	/usr/share/doc/tex-common/
and does not state these conflicting things.

Closing this bug (and will care for cleaning up the mess on
people.debian.org)
