Bug#721716: texlive-fonts-recommended: why Depends: ttf-marvosym ?

Hi,

I wonder why the texlive-fonts-recommended package pulls in ttf-marvosym? I
mean, sure, there is a symlink in /usr/share/texlive/texmf-
dist/fonts/truetype/public/marvosym/marvosym.ttf that would be dangling if this
package wasn't installed. But, seriously, I doubt that LaTeX really uses the
Truetype variant when the Type 1 variant of that "font" is available in
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/type1/public/marvosym/marvosym.pfb.
