Bug#709686: latex-cjk-thai: thailatex dependency is now obsolete
Package: latex-cjk-thai
Version: 4.8.3+git20120621-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Upstream thailatex has disbanded after all its components are pushed into
mainstream. And, in Debian, it has become a transitional package under
texlive-lang, and is deemed to be removed from Debian in the near future.
The required Thai Type1 fonts as mentioned in your package description are
now provided by texlive-lang-other binary package.
So, please replace the dependency on thailatex with texlive-lang-other
(>= 2013.20130523-1) instead.
(As a record, the fonts had been split into latex-fonts-thai-tlwg since
thailatex 0.4.6. But I was not aware of latex-cjk-thai as a reverse
dependency at that time. So, I hadn't reported it. Now the font package
is also obsolete, anyway. So, let's just skip it.)
